For the best fit, we recommend measuring just behind your pup's ears. For wiggly dogs, try wrapping a string around their neck behind their ears and measure the string!

Crafted from performance Piñatex (thicker than the regular material) which is made from up-cycled pineapple leaves. Yup, you read that right. Your pup will be rocking a collar made from leaf fiber. It's stronger and more water resistant than leather! Give yourself a high five, now go high five a tree.
Piñatex Care Instructions:
To clean the collar, simply wipe down with a wet, soapy cloth and allow to dry. If the collar is very dirty, you can rinse it under running water. We don't recommend soaking the collar or putting it through the wash as this could damage the material. The collar can also be treated with a clear, natural wax and buffed out with a dry cloth for a long lasting shine.

What is Piñatex?
Piñatex is a new textile created by Ananas Anam from up-cycled pineapple leaf fibers. Because the leaves are a by-product of the pineapple farming industry (think canned pineapple), Piñatex doesn't use any more water, land, or fertilizer to create. This makes it an eco-friendly, plant-based, sustainable choice! Seriously, we could go on about Piñatex for days. Short story, it's stronger than leather, just as soft, water resistant, and all around awesome!
How will my pup's collar/leash/harness be made?
Everything we make is hand-cut and sewn one at a time in our small shop in NY, US. We cut and fold the Piñatex to the size you request and sew it all together with strong, kevlar thread. We then assemble your item with your choice of gold, bronze, or silver metal hardware!
My pup is super rambunctious. Will Piñatex hold up to them being a dog?
Absolutely! Piñatex is a strong, water resistant material. Dunk it, swim with it, pull on it, we just don't recommend eating it. (We know. We said it was Pineapple. It doesn't taste like it though. Trust us, we tried.) Add in solid cast metal hardware with no weak welded point and you've got one tough item!
My pup LOVES to swim. Can Piñatex get wet?
Yes! Piñatex handles water and getting wet Even Better Than Leather. Unlike leather, Piñatex won't crack or stretch if you soak it. (Unfortunately it won't sprout Pineapples, even with regular watering.)
